Diagramme eksplaining the ways of UFF



The Collection boxes of Tvind in Denmark have a new decoration explaining how the donated textiles are used. A witty friend of mine suggested, that they admitted to converting the clothes into gold bars, which they keep for themselves while leaving the Africans with a football goal.

Amdi wanted by Mexican police

Jan. 5th, Fyens Stiftstidende/Jyllands-Posten: Danish authorities have sent a request to Mexico for the arrest of Amdi Petersen and the four other members of the TG leadership wanted by the Danish public prosecution. A spokesman for the Mexican authorities, Jose Manjarrez, confirms that they are actively searching.

Amdi Petersen celebrates his 75th birthday on the 9th of this month.

Aug. 29, several media: The Appeals Court (Østre Landsret) has issued an international warrant for the arrest of Mogens Amdi Petersen and four other members of the TG leadership.

Will Amdi show up?

The first day in court in the appeals case against the Tvind and TG leadership, including Amdi Petersen, is monday may 6th in Aarhus. Danish media are full of speculations about what will happen. I think that there is a chance, that Amdi Petersen will show up. Surprise has always been one of his favourite modus operandi.

Simon Lichtenberg and Georg Jensen are meeting in court

April 19, 2013, (Berlingske): The Danish producer of luxury items, Georg Jensen, went into business with Simon Lichtenberg and Trayton Group in 2008 in an effort to market their products in China, but the deal was later cancelled. Now the two parties meet in a Copenhagen court in a civil dispute over some 50 mill DKK.

The case is not closed

DR Nyheder Feb. 25: The next session in the appeals court in the pending case against Tvind is scheduled for May 6th. What is going to happen depends upon whether Amdi Petersen and his associates appear. A ruling in absentia seems to be a real possibility.
